People aren’t always curling up by the fire for a few hours to read through a book anymore. These days, it’s a few pages here on the subway, a few hundred words while waiting in line for your coffee. Smartphones, like the iPhone, provide huge convenience for people on-the-go and those simply wishing to consolidate their literature and music libraries, telephone, video and still cameras, calendars, TVs, and  personal computers into one handheld device.

  1. Chris, thanks for the mention. To me, the smartphone market is just opening to ebooks, and may be the place we see the biggest adaptation of the ePub format. I think as many authors as possible ought to get their books into these formats.
