BookBaby eBook Publishing Services Now Available for All Government Agencies

BookBaby works with GSA to allow federal agencies to create and distribute information as eBooks

BookBaby makes it easy for writers to create and sell eBooks, and now we’re bringing that same approach to working with the federal government. We recently completed work with the Government Services Administration (GSA) to modify its Terms of Service and discount schedule, clearing the way for US government agencies to utilize BookBaby eBook publishing products and services for its entire catalog of brochures, reports, and information.

“We’re now open for business with the federal government,” said Steven Spatz, Chief Marketing Officer for BookBaby.com. “By purchasing our discounted publishing credits, all federal agencies can now use BookBaby to convert publications into eBooks, from simple brochures to huge reports. They can take advantage of our easy upload process and global distribution network, just like the thousands of authors we’re already working with.”

“Plus, BookBaby will be the first eBook publisher to be listed on the federal government website (apps.gov) for approved social media and communication vendors,” said Spatz.

BookBaby is now an approved government vendor with the creation of a federal–compatible Terms of Service (TOS) agreement. This is a special agreement negotiated between the federal government and vendors who offer web-based communication and social media tools. These federal–compatible TOS agreements modify or remove problematic clauses in standard TOS agreements, and allow federal employees to legally use these tools.

Government employees can access BookBaby’s discount schedule by purchasing publishing credits – pre-purchased eBook packages discounted over 24% from list cost. For more information go to http://www.bookbaby.com/government.
